About Celebrant Ceremonies

What is a celebrant-led ceremony?

A celebrant-led ceremony is a personalized, non-religious ceremony that's completely bespoke to you. Unlike registry office ceremonies which follow a set format, I work with you to craft every element – the words, the structure, the rituals, the readings – so it truly reflects your relationship and your values.

Planning Your Ceremony

How long does it take to plan a ceremony?

Ideally, I recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance, though I can work with shorter timescales if needed. The planning process itself typically involves an initial consultation, a couples questionnaire, script development (with revisions), and a final meeting or rehearsal before your day.

On the Day

What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor ceremony?

Most outdoor venues have a backup plan for bad weather. We'll discuss contingencies ahead of time, and I'll work with you and your venue to ensure everything runs smoothly regardless of the weather.
